Former Caesars exec hired as VP of taxes

Betty Wilson, former vice president of taxes at Caesars World Inc., has been named vice president of tax administration by MGM Grand Inc.
In her new position, Wilson will be responsible for all tax planning and reporting within MGM Grand.
In April, Wilson sued Park Place Entertainment Corp., alleging the company failed to pay her $324,260 in severance benefits after her termination on March 10.
Wilson claimed she was given a severance plan in November 1997 that entitled her to the benefits "in the event of a termination after a change in control of Caesars World." Caesars was acquired by Park Place Entertainment Corp. in December 1999.
Wilson's lawsuit is pending.
