Ariana Renee Abarca
Ariana Renee Abarca, 11, of Las Vegas died Thursday. She was born Nov. 13, 1988, in Las Vegas. She was a student at Tomiyasu Elementary School.
She is survived by her parents, Juan and Isabel Abarca, two sisters, Wendy Carrington and Maby Abarca, and one brother, Enrique Abarca, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Josephina Montijo of Phoenix and Gilberto Pesqueira of Mexico.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday and 8-10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Katherine L. Anderson
Katherine L. Anderson, 91, of Las Vegas died May 27 in Las Vegas. She was born June 1, 1908, in Michigan. A resident for seven years, she was a retired occupational therapist.
She is survived by one nephew, Robert B. Knaggs of Akron, Ohio; one niece, JoAnn H. Anderson of Las Vegas; two great-nieces and eight great-nephews.
Services and burial will be in Chicago. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Helen Catherine Bastian
Helen Catherine Bastian, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Waukesha, Wis. A resident for 22 years, she was born Jan. 21, 1927, in North Dakota.
She was survived by one daughter, Judith Matchette of Waukesha, Wis.; two sons, George Bastian and Steven Bastian of Henderson; two brothers, Clemens Lesmeister and Peter Lesmeister, both of Wisconsin; one sister, Agnes Brandt; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Connie DeLaney
Connie DeLaney, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 8, 1918, in New York. A resident for 55 years, she was a dealer.
She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Fritzgerald; and one sister, Lucy Travesano.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Anthony Famularo
Anthony Famularo, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 9, 1943, in Milwaukee. A resident for one year, he was a retired automotive mechanic and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; two daughters, Venus Famularo and Tamara Famularo, both of Murietta, Calif.; two sons, Jeff Stuart of Las Vegas and Cris Stuart of Lake Forest, Calif.; his mother, Ruth Clemens, and one sister, Judy Cessna, both of Wildomar, Calif.; four brothers, Don Famularo of Las Vegas, Mark Famularo of Lomita, Calif., Bill Famularo of Simi Valley, Calif., and Scott Famularo of Agua Dulce, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Paula Garcia
Paula Garcia, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 26, 1928, in Pharr, Texas. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Debra Hulbert, Diedra Chassereau, Darlene Nitschke and Wendy Garcia, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Carmen Ramirez of Pharr, Rachel Rodriguez of Victoria, Texas, Rose Rubio of San Antonio and Linda Rubio of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Roy Renteria, Rudolfo Renteria and Richard Renteria, all of Pharr; her friend, Joseph Garcia of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Harold E. Johnson Sr.
Harold E. Johnson Sr., 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 3, 1930, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for two years, he was a retired heating and air-conditioning engineer and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by five daughters, Susan Mallory and Sheree Voyles, both of Wichita, Kan., Joyce Baird of Littlerock, Calif., and Mary Johnson and Suzanne Robinson, both of Las Vegas; four sons, Harold Johnson Jr., Robert Johnson and Daniel Johnson, all of Las Vegas, and William "Johnson" Spelker of Placerville, Calif.; three sisters, Marion Dominguez of San Diego, Calif., Joyce Schbrough of Lincoln and Joann Hoffman of Mesa, Ariz.; 38 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-4 p.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Marie L. Krob, 87, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1913, in Chicago. A resident for one year, she was a retired department store sales clerk.
She is survived by one son, Keoki Krob of North Las Vegas; one sister, Helen Benes of Venice, Fla.; three brother, Jerry Netolicky of River Grove, Ill., John Netolicky of Northport, Fla., and Joseph Netolicky of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling local arrangements. Adolf-Berwyn Funeral Home, Berwyn, Ill., is handling out-of-town arrangements.

Helen A. LaFountaine, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday. She was born in Mechanicsville, N.Y. She was a homemaker and communicant of the former St. Maries Church in Cohoes, N.Y.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Prior of Las Vegas; two sisters, Julie Follett and Frances Lanne; five brothers, Joseph, Michael, Frank, Edward and Henry; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

Mei King Lee, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1932, in China. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Kae Men; two daughters, Joyce Lee of Henderson and Shirley Lee of Covina, Calif.; one son, Warren Lee of Las Vegas; one brother; and one sister.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Marty Marsh
Marty Marsh, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Feb. 21, 1926, in New York City. A resident for seven years, he was a retired newspaper pressman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; five daughters, Lisa Balogh of East Brunswick, N.J., Beth Parry and Barbara Robinson, both of Virginia, Michele Freeman of Spotswood, N.J., and Judy Donofrio of Farmingdale, N.J.; three sons, Kenneth Marsh of Jacksonville, Fla., John Cummings of Virginia and Steven Morgen of East Brunswick; and 18 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Alexandria Marie Montero, 11 days, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born June 7, 2000, in Henderson.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Jennifer Montero of Henderson; and her grandparents, Lawrence and Deborah Hathaway of Henderson, Robert Jay and Malinda Montero of Windomar, Calif., Tom and Amy Seadore of Las Vegas and Frank Smith of Chicago.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Audrey M. Newman, 75, of Pahrump died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 21, 1925, in Toronto. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard; one daughter, Jeannie Raymond of Las Vegas; three sons, Lenny Newman Jr. of Valencia, Calif., and Kirk Newman and George Newman, both of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Edna and Lorraine, and one brother, Raymond, all of Toronto; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Arlene Reid, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born April 26, 1939, in Canada. A resident for 10 years, she was an accountant in the gaming industry.
She is survived by her parents, Don and Jean Gaudhe, and one sister, Heather Chapman, both of Winnipeg, Manitoba; and one brother, Brent Reid of Toronto.

Jose Valenzuela
Jose Valenzuela, 37, of Perris, Calif., died Saturday in Perris. He was born Feb. 22, 1945, in Santa Ana, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident for three years, he was a construction worker, an Army veteran and a member of Laborers locals 1184 and 783 in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; five sons, Daniel, Robert, Jimmy, Chris and Babu, and three daughters, Francina, Lisa and Tanya, all of Perris; his mother, Delfina Valenzuela of Riverside, Calif.; seven brothers, Juan Valenzuela of Los Angeles, Clem Valenzuela of Hemet, Calif., Guadalupe Valenzuela of Arizona, Eddie Valenzuela of Costa Mesa, Calif., Daniel Valenzuela and Manuel Valenzuela, both of Sacramento, and Ernie Valenzuela of Perris; five sisters, Sally Pena of Perris, Josephine Duarte of Westley, Calif., Carmen Burrola of Buena Park, Calif., and Connie Pena and Maria Self, both of Riverside, Calif.

Doris L. White, 50, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1950, in Louisiana. A resident for 41 years, she was a hotel maid.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence E. White Sr.; two sons, Ricky Winbush and Lawrence White Jr., his mother, Rosie Johnson-Cooper, and two brothers, Samuel Winbush and Billy R. Johnson Jr., all of Las Vegas; three sisters, June Johnson and Ellen L. Cooper, both of Las Vegas and Vera Minter of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1439 Lawry Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Georgia Janine Youmans
Georgia Janine Youmans, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 1, 1955, in California. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Miklos Nagy and Larry Youmans; her father, Ed Sparks; her mother, Dewey Hinkle; two brothers, Rodney Sparks and Everett Sparks; one sister, Carrie Dasko and Rebbie Haney; and one grandchild.
