1st Race -- Coldwater Canyon - Flores/Baffert team, draws good post for the route opener, time to graduate. Nationalore - Richest maiden in the land, has finished runner-up to the best and mediocre in the country, but one of these days...... Value Play -- Airiasaffiair
2nd Race -- Gibson County - Stakes winner well placed here, Flores/ Baffert / Pegram connections, elusive target here. Grandy - Stretch-runner will appreciate a speed duel, if it occurs, then this guy is more than capable of picking up the pieces. Value Play -- Mellow Fellow
3rd Race -- Mary Kies - Part of Bray-trained coupled entry with Nicole Penrod, hot-riding Desormeaux on this half of Paulson duo, tough one-two punch. Doula - Top jock Espinoza on Mandella trainee, draws good inner post for the route turf outing, should get a good trip here. Value Play -- Hastenby
4th Race -- Meteor Game - Training at Santa Anita, draws good post for the short dash, hustling bug boy Diaz for trainer Dutton. Regalful - Espinoza aboard Dominguez trainee, trainer good with babies, good post here. Value Play -- Act Stormy
5th Race -- Island Caper - Likes this track, hustling Pedroza for main man Carava, should be a forward factor throughout, good spot. Beinfeo - Scratched out over the weekend to run in this spot, Desormeaux/Hess team, needs clean trip from rail post at the sprint distance. Value Play -- Free World/ Hilltown entry
6th Race -- Rivbrus - French-bred runner training at Santa Anita, draws good post for the route turf outing, adds blinkers for this trip. Exit To Rio - Solis on Truman entry here, should fit this turf trip well, Rio may Exit race into winners circle. Value Play -- Sinoptico
7th Race -- Warm April - McCarron returns on Sahadi trainee, sharp and fits this heat, good post, key contender. Sweep Back - Training at Santa Anita, draws outside post for the sprint feature, Flores scales Cerin trainee. Value Play -- Henry Cecil
8th Race -- Clear Skies - Draws good middle post in full field for nightcap sprint, Delahoussaye sticks around to ride Gaines trainee, graduation time. Miss Calculated - Hustling bug boy Baze on Sadler trainee, jockey/trainer combo have been productive at the meet, don't miscalculate. Value Play -- Slews Shootin Miss
