Harold Lynn Abel

Harold Lynn Abel, 47, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1952, in Winnemucca. A resident for 15 years, he was a teacher, a member of the National Educators Association, Great Basin Language Project, Clark County Teachers Association and Minority Association.

He is survived by three sisters, Sharon Barton of McDermitt, Nancy Abel of Reno and Sandra Garrity of Pocatello, Idaho; and three brothers, LeRoy Dick of Burns Junction, Ore., and Glen Abel and Corey Abel, both of McDermitt.

A memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

The family suggests donations to the Harold L. Abel Scholarship Fund, McDermitt.

Donna Jean Anton

Donna Jean Anton, 68, of Las Vegas died June 8. A resident for 12 years, she was born May 11, 1932, in Dodge City, Kan.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; three sons, Robert Anton of California, Michael Morrison of Maryland and John Morrison of Indiana; one daughter, Ann Barowski of Montana; and six grandchildren.

Services will be private. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Gigi Buffington

Gigi Buffington, 40, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 15, 1960, in Knoxville, Tenn. A resident for 30 years, she was a manicurist at a beauty salon.

She is survived by one daughter, Harmonie Ghighi, two sons, Dustin Buffington and Max Buffington, and her mother, Phyllis Murphy, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Anne D. Eubanks

Anne D. Eubanks, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 25, 1908, in Brantley, Ala. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired teacher.

She is survived by one son, John Eubanks of Las Vegas; five sisters; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Lyn Fabian

Lyn Fabian, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born March 27, 1923, in Bangor, Maine. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Lance Fabian of Las Vegas; two sisters, Denise Schwarz of Babylon, N.Y., and Marian Rinaldo of Rockford, Ill.; one brother, Joseph Carney of Hartford, Conn.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Charles W. Finley

Charles W. Finley, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 10, 1923, in Ashland, Ohio. A printer and pressman for more than 40 years at the Wooster, Ohio, daily paper, he was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran who received three Bronze Stars and a presidential citation. He was a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars, past patron of the Order of Eastern Star and was a Knight of the York Cross of Honor.

He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Ann Huff of Las Vegas and Beth Ann Miller of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Scott Thomas Finley and Brian William Finley, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Betty Herre of Butler, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Patricia H. Garvey

Patricia H. Garvey, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 26, 1939, in Philadelphia. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, James I.; one daughter, Carolynn Garvey, and two sons, James F. Garvey and Robert Garvey, all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Enrique Hagedorn

Enrique Hagedorn, 93, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 24, 1906, in the Philippines. A resident for eight years, he was a retired Army first lieutenant and World War II veteran and a lifetime member of the Retired Officers Association.

He is survived by his wife, Lelita; one daughter, Gloria Sison, and five sons, Henry Hagedorn, Frederick Hagedorn, William Hagedorn, Robert Hagedorn and George Hagedorn, all of California; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Cleve Householder

Cleve Householder, 72, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1927, in Eagle Town, Okla. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired household goods inspector for the federal government and a World War II and Korean War Army and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Judi; one daughter, Denise Smith of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one son, Derek Householder of San Diego; two stepsons, Kevin Tate of Oxnard, Calif., and Marc Tate of Las Vegas; three sisters, Betty Stayton of Sacramento and Noma Collins and Gracie McMann, both of San Antonio; two brothers, Harold Householder of Fresno, Calif., and Jerry Householder of Palmdale, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Private services will be in California. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Joseph P. Kline

Joseph P. Kline, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1920, in Mohawk, Mich. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired general manager for an automobile firm, a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine R.; two daughters, Frances Bigelow and Mary Elizabith Kline, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Paul Kline of Las Vegas and Timothy Kline of Venice Beach, Calif.; one sister, Mary Louise Kieely of Sudbury, Ontario; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services were scheduled at 12:30 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

Julia Knaggs

Julia Knaggs, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born March 29, 1909, in Budapest, Hungary. A resident for one year, she was a piece worker for an electrical business.

She is survived by two daughters, Jean E. Celeste and Marie Gambrell, and one son, Anthony Celeste, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Hazel Krikorian

Hazel Krikorian, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 27, 1935, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a retired human resources manager for a lighting company.

She is survived by one brother, George Krikorian of Cave Creek, Ariz.

Visitation will continue until a 6 p.m. vigil today and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens.

Earsel E. Scarbrough

Earsel E. Scarbrough, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 22, 1913, in Mississippi. A resident for 11 years, she owned a clothing and dress shop.

She is survived by one daughter, Yvonne Doss of Las Vegas; one brother, T. Caldwell of Columbus, Miss.; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Mississippi. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Phillip C. Williams

Phillip C. Williams, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 13, 1937, in Joplin, Mo. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired fuel systems mechanic for the federal government and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sally; one daughter, Deborah Casteel of Sacramento; one sister, Leslie Burkett of Phoenix; one brother, Nick Williams of Washington state; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Carl D. Wiseman

Carl D. Wiseman, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Ohio. A resident for six months, he was a retired physician.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Oklahoma. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
