Daniel Campbell
Daniel Campbell, 60, of Las Vegas died May 21 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 26, 1940, in Nevada City, Calif. A resident for five years, he was a janitor.
He is survived by one son, Daniel Campbell Jr. of Clarkston, Wash.; and one daughter, Cara Campbell of Portland, Ore.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Arthur R. Denison
Arthur R. Denison, 86, of Boulder City died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1914, in Monterey, Calif. A resident for 63 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the federal government, a former worker on the contruction of Boulder Dam, a retired Navy chief petty officer and World War II veteran, a member of the Boulder City Elks, Boulder City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Knights of Columbus and American Legion and active in the Boulder City Seniors Center.
He is survived by two daughters, Jean D. Carter of Hot Springs, Ark., and Vicki Cramer of Friendswood, Texas; and one son, Everett R. Denison of Hot Springs.
Visitation will be private. Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Joseph C. Del Grosso Sr.
Joseph C. Del Grosso Sr., 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1928, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a retail owner-operator and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ida; four daughters, Diane Terrana of Lewiston, N.Y., and Patricia Del Grosso, Lisa Crossley and Annette Del Grosso, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Rocco Del Grosso of Pendleton, N.Y., and Joseph R. Del Grosso and Edward J. Del Grosso, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Dominic Del Grosso of Las Vegas; two sisters, Marie Marino of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Florence Gabriel of Tonawanda, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until a 6 p.m. rosary today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Dale William Engelbrecht
Dale William Engelbrecht, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 1, 1933, in Two Rivers, Wis. A resident for 44 years, he was an operations supervisor for Nevada Power Co. for 37 years, a Navy veteran, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3848, Family Motor Coach Assocation, Vegas Vagabonds and Nevada Gypsies.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; one daughter, Catherine Rooney of Mesa, Ariz.; one son, Daniel Engelbrecht of San Diego; one sister, Shirley Busch of Two Rivers; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 59 Lynn Lane, Henderson. Burial will be private. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Betty J. Grimes
Betty J. Grimes, 67, of Las Vegas died June 5 in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Aug. 23, 1932, in New York state.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Parris of Draper, Utah; four sisters, Alice McKale, Carol Ann Berkhardt, Rose Marie Pitts and Mary Jean Conti, and one brother, Maurice Geiger, all of New York; and three grandchildren.
No local services were scheduled. Burial was in New York. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Robert R. Hawkins
Robert R. Hawkins, 44, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born May 3, 1956, in Detroit. A resident for 24 years, he was a general manager of a carpet cleaning company.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Hawkins of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Al Hawkins of Las Vegas and Charles Hawkins of Tucson, Ariz.
Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Wilmer E. Hollingshead
Wilmer E. Hollingshead, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 12, 1916, in Port Huron, Mich. A resident for many years, he was a bakery route supervisor.
He is survived by two daughters, Micki Hollingshead of Las Vegas and Barbara Guinaldo of Canton, Ohio.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Canton, Ohio. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Cecil Ingram
Cecil Ingram, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born March 15, 1915, in Welchburg, Ky. A resident for 55 years, he was a retired owner-operator of Ingram Construction Co. in Las Vegas for 55 years and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, LaVona; two sons, Robert L. Ingram and Wayne Ingram, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Audrey, Aloise, Alice and Nellie; two brothers, Claude and David; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Arthur C. Kalis
Arthur C. Kalis, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 5, 1917, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Buffalo schoolteacher, a World War II Navy veteran, a member and past master of Sutherland Masonic Lodge 826, past district deputy grand master of the Niagara-Orleans District and past patron of the Augustus H. Crown Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, Thomas Kalis, and one daughter, Lucille Gullo, both of Buffalo; one brother, Norbert Orlowski of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 5 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Amelia Locke
Amelia Locke, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born July 17, 1911, in Lewiston, Maine. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired railroad clerk.
She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Westervelt of Charleston, S.C., Barbara Melko of Blenheim, N.J., and Helena Ianni of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Virgil Owen
Virgil Owen, 77, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1923, in Sikeston, Mo. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired newspaper distribution manager and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Chata; two daughters, Elizabeth Ogden and Kathleen Hilbert, and one son, Butch Owen, all of Michigan; one sister, Ina Anderson of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Danny Z. Smit
Danny Z. Smit, 46, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 17, 1953, in Cleveland. A resident for three years, he was an automobile salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jean; two sons, Chase Smit and Marshall Smit, both of San Diego; his parents, Morton J. and Doleeta Smit, and one sister, Jarmilla Arnold, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, James McMillan of Las Vegas and Louis Smit of Everett, Wash.

Johnny Wilkins Jr.
Johnny Wilkins Jr., 23, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was born April 3, 1977, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Wilkins and his father, Bobby D. Turner, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Bobby D. Wilkins-Turner of Las Vegas and Tony Wilkins of Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Torlin Wilkins of Las Vegas and Tasha Wilkins of Tacoma; and his grandparents, Eunice Cooper of Tacoma and John Scott of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Wednesday in New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1165 Lawry Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
