Letter: Real men earn right to be called by title ‘mister’
Tuesday, June 13, 2000 | 9:39 a.m.
"Mister" is a title you give to a real man. Let the criminal's lawyer call these low-lives mister. There are very few lawyers I'd call mister. If you all want to see some real men, come to Carefree Senior Living on Sandhill Road. Many men there raised families and never ran away from that responsibility.
Many fought in wars and came face to face with death and never backed down. Some are sick, but still have the courage to show up every morning at the clubhouse with a warm greeting and a smile on their face, and I might add, play a darn good game of pool.
Thank God I'm surrounded every day with real men I'm proud to call "mister."
