Behnam J. Anton

Behnam J. Anton, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Baghdad, Iraq. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a retail sales operation.

He is survived by his wife, Majdolin; and four brothers, Bermen Anton of Michigan and Noel Anton, Ephram Anton and Abed Anton, all of Baghdad.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Joseph C. Del Grosso Sr.

Joseph C. Del Grosso Sr., 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1928, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a retail owner-operator and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ida; four daughters, Diane Terrana of Lewiston, N.Y., and Patricia Del Grosso, Lisa Crossley and Annette Del Grosso, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Rocco Del Grosso of Pendleton, N.Y., and Joseph R. Del Grosso and Edward J. Del Grosso, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Dominic Del Grosso of Las Vegas; two sisters, Marie Marino of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Florence Gabriel of Tonawanda, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, with time and location pending.

Robert J. Ferguson

Robert J. Ferguson, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1928, in Pawtucket, R.I. A resident for 46 years, he retired from the Las Vegas Fire Department as captain after 30 years and was a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Douglas Ferguson of Henderson and Kevin Ferguson of Las Vegas; two sisters, Elizabeth C. Klemick of Florida and Anne Marsland of Massachusetts; three brothers, Gavin Ferguson and Gerald Ferguson, both of Rhode Island, and Charles B. Ferguson of Arizona; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be private.

Reginald Demark Hicks

Reginald Demark Hicks, 30, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 21, 1969, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was an apartment maintenance man and a member of the Prayer Center of Las Vegas and the Culinary Union.

He is survived by his wife, Nia; two sons, Reginald Hicks and Elijah Hicks, four daughters, Nicole Hicks, Nyesha Hicks, Natori Hicks and Mariah Hicks, his mother and stepfather, Jeraline and Thomas Coleman, one brother, Thomas Coleman Jr., and three sisters, Tawndra Coleman, Tecia Coleman and Pam Jackson, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Robert Hicks of Las Vegas and Nora Lee Davis of Louisiana.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Jeanne M. Krebeck

Jeanne M. Krebeck, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 11 years, she was born June 15, 1924, in Chicago.

She is survived by three daughters, Pat Hoeh of Crystal Lake, Ill., Sandi Kourik of Henderson and Jeanne Hentz of Marion, Ill.; three sons, Bill Krebeck of McHenry, Ill., Dan Krebeck of Henderson and Scott Krebeck of Phoenix; one brother, Jim O'Connell of Upland, Calif.; one sister, Pat Malay of Iron Mountain, Mich.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Pedro Montoya

Pedro Montoya, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 19, 1922, in Mexico. A resident for 12 years, he was a produce market owner-operator.

He is survived by his wife, Elisa; five daughters, Martha Montoya and Herlinda Montoya, both of California, and Maria Montoya, Margarita Montoya and Gloria Montoya, all of Las Vegas; six sons, Reyes Montoya of California, Pedro H. Montoya, Luis Montoya, Enrique Montoya and Raul Montoya, all of Las Vegas, and Baltazar Montoya of Washington state; one sister, Antonia Gamboa of Las Vegas; 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Candido C. Prado Jr.

Candido C. Prado Jr., 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1929, in the Philippines. A resident for five years, he was a retired pharmaceutical representative and a member of Toastmasters.

He is survived by his wife, Zenaida; two sons, Carlo Prado and Kris Prado, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Nora Villena of Japan and Olivia Olleres of the Philippines; and two brothers, Greg Prado and Tony Prado, both of California.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

William S. Van Buskirk

William S. Van Buskirk, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Los Angeles. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Trudy; one daughter, Barbara Harms of Dallas, Ore.; two sons, William Van Buskirk of Cascade, Md., and Jeffrey Van Buskirk of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Patricia Schmitt and Christina Colligan, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Curtyne Ford of Chico, Calif.; one brother, Edward Van Buskirk of Paradise, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Earnell A. Washington

Earnell A. Washington, 33, of Las Vegas died May 31 in a local hospital. He was born March 4, 1967, in Chicago. A resident for six years, he was a cook's helper at a fast food business.

He is survived by his father, Earnell Washington of Dallas; his mother, Bonnie Washington of Chicago; one sister, Jackie of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Daisy Lee Chaney of Dallas.

Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Melvin Wilson

Melvin Wilson, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 30, 1924, in St. Louis. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired sales representative in the medical field and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by four sisters, Hattie Bradford and Pearl Harrison, both of St. Louis, and Jessie Edelbeck and Fern Staedtler, both of Pensacola, Fla.; and one brother, Robert Wilson of Las Vegas.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
