Mojave player going to Coppin

Mojave senior Elijah Smith has signed a letter of intent in boys basketball and track with Coppin State University in Baltimore. The 6-5 Smith led the Rattlers' basketball team with averages of 16 points and eight rebounds last season. He also captured his second 4A state title in the high jump this spring.
Smith's basketball teammate Reggie Willoughby, a 6-0 shooting guard, has also signed, with Lassen Junior College in California. Willoughby averaged 13.5 points as a senor and was also an honorable mention Sun all-state selection.
