ATLANTIC CITY -- An unidentified man hanged himself under the Boardwalk on Thursday, the third suicide outside a casino in the last three months, police said.
The man, who was described as an Asian in his 50s, was found hanging from a bedsheet suspended beneath the Boardwalk decking near Brighton Avenue, in front of the Tropicana Casino and Resort.
On May 26, a former employee of Trump Marina Hotel Casino jumped to his death from the casino's nine-story parking garage. He died at the scene.
On April 5, a part-time dealer at the Sands Hotel Casino plunged to his death from the Trump Plaza parking garage.
Foul play was not suspected in the latest death, said Sgt. Michael Tullio, a police spokesman.
