Last year: Dale Earnhardt Jr. passed Jeff Green with 70 laps to go for the victory. Earnhardt, who started on the pole, didn't lead a lap until he passed Green on the 231st.

Last race: Jason Keller avoided a rash of accidents then held off Mark Martin over the last 43 laps to win the MBNA Platinum 200 in Dover, Del. It was Keller's first victory of the year and fourth of his career.

Fast facts: Kevin Harvick, who started on the pole last week, leads the rookie standings. ... Jeff Green leads the standings by 134 points over Todd Bodine.

Last race: Jack Sprague won the Sears 200 in Monroe, Wash. He held off Randy Tolsma after a caution flag from an accident involving Sprague allowed him to go to the front when the leaders pitted for tires for a final two-lap dash.

Fast facts: Texas Motor Speedway is the only track to play host to two trucks series events this season. ... Sprague set a series record last week with his ninth consecutive top-five finish. ... No driver has finished every race this season. ... Six of 10 races this year have been won from the front row.

Last year: Scott Goodyear won for the second time in four races, driving for the team co-owned by NFL quarterback Jim Harbaugh.

Last race: CART champion Juan Montoya crossed over and won the IRL's Indianapolis 500. Montoya led 167 of the 200 laps and took the checkered flag with his closest competitor still in the fourth turn. He is Indy's first rookie champion since Graham Hill in 1966.

Fast facts: There has not been a repeat winner at Texas Motor Speedway. ... This is the first night race of the season. ... Seven of the top-10 finishers from the Indianapolis 500 are entered in the race. ... Buddy Lazier leads the points race by 26 over Goodyear and Robbie Buhl.
