Fred A. Babuscio
Fred A. Babuscio, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Chicago. A resident for many years, he was a dealer and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Demma of Orland Park, Ill.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Patricia K. Barile
Patricia K. Barile, 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1953, in New York. A resident for 24 years, she was a hospital financial consultant.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent; one daughter, Adrianne Barile, and one son, Vincent Barile Jr., both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Michael Ferrall of New York.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Eugene 'Bud' Crissman
Eugene 'Bud' Crissman, 77, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 31, 1923, in Harlan, Kan. A resident for 6 1/2 years, he was a retired government district foreman, a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the 1st Marine Division Association.
He is survived by his wife, Connie A.; two daughters, Christina Blaney and Martha Crissman, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Michael Crissman of Rigby, Idaho, and Robert Crissman of Adelanto, Calif.; one sister, Lily Bignall of Lawrence, Kan.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
George Harber
George Harber, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 10, 1934, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a food chemist.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Naber of Henderson.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in New York. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Irving B. Hechter
Irving B. Hechter, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1927, in Minneapolis. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired wholesale jeweler and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; two daughters, Vicki Hechter of Las Vegas and Laurie Putnam of Simi Valley, Calif.; one son, Robert Hechter of Henderson; one stepson, Nicholas Arzio of Las Vegas; one brother, Hy Hechter of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Harriet Fellman of San Diego and Pearl Fellman of Gulfport, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
The Rev. Roy A. Hightower
The Rev. Roy A. Hightower, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born May 11, 1912, in Wetumka, Okla. A resident for 53 years, he was a retired Baptist minister.
He is survived by one brother, Taffary Hightower of Los Angeles; three sisters, Martha Wilson of Los Angeles, Miriam Green of Tulsa, Okla., and Minnie Page of Portland, Ore.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
George Mortimer Hutton
George Mortimer Hutton, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 1, 1924, in Philadelphia. A resident for 10 years, he was an administrator for the New Jersey Housing Finance Agency and a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Eddie Lou Reeves of Las Vegas; three sons, George M. Hutton IV of Las Vegas, Wallace G. Hutton of Los Angeles and Mark A. Hutton of Reno; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Hutton of West Orange, N.J., and Jeannette Hutton of Washington Crossing, Pa.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. A private burial will follow.
Opal A. Isom
Opal A. Isom, 70, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 17, 1929, in Kansas. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired medical clerk and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Doc; two sons, Jerald Crowl of Las Vegas and Arian Crowl of Henderson; two brothers, Homer Rush of Henderson and Leslie Rush of Wakenney, Kan.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Louella L. Kamin
Louella L. Kamin, 88, of Westminster, Calif., died Saturday in California. She was born Nov. 22, 1911, in Nickerson, Minn. A former Las Vegas resident from 1959 to 1995, she was a retired Hacienda hotel-casino cashier.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Cecil Lavelle Lynch Sr.
Cecil Lavelle Lynch Sr., 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local convalescent center. He was born Feb. 15, 1914, in Schulenburg, Texas. A resident for 54 years, he was a restaurant and casino owner, a Navy veteran, past commander of American Legion Post 8, past member of the Elks, Variety Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one son, Cecil Lynch Jr.; one daughter, Pamela Lynch Hall; and one granddaughter.

Paul T. Newsham
Paul T. Newsham, 31, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 21, 1969, in Las Vegas. A resident for six months, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by one brother, David Newsham, and one sister, Tammi Montoya, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A private burial will follow.
Ronald J. Ornstein
Ronald J. Ornstein, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 24, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 39 years, he was a retired hotel gourmet room captain, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Culinary Union.
He is survived by his wife, Mitzie; one sister, Lenore Starr of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and one brother, Murray Ornstein of Hartsdale, N.Y.
A memorial service was scheduled 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Danielle Lynn Piccolo
Danielle Lynn Piccolo, 26, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 11, 1974, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a fast food manager.
She is survived by her mother, Lynnette Jean Piccolo, her stepfather, George Chevalier, and one sister, Stephanie Fox, all of Henderson; one brother, Michael Piccolo of Henderson; and her fiance, Paul Brazier of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Elliott Powers
Elliott Powers, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 13, 1919, in Winslow, Ariz. A resident for 30 years, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Ellecia Slone of Las Vegas and Ann Gaball of Logandale; one brother, James Powers of Otwell, Ind.; one sister, Mildred Skelton of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.
Felipe Rodriguez
Felipe Rodriguez, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1941, in Mexico. A resident for one year, he was a gold miner.
He is survived by his wife, Catalina; four daughters, Juana Rodriguez, Silvia Rodriguez, Sandra Rodriguez and Elena Rodriguez, and two sons, Felipe Rodriguez Jr. and Jose Luis Ridriguez, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Luis Rodriguez of Michigan; four sisters, Rosa Rodriguez of Mexico, Luz Maria of Las Vegas and Belem Huerta and Ofelia Torres, both of Michigan; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Leslie C. Salo
Leslie C. Salo, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 17, 1924, in Ishpeming, Mich. A resident for 32 years, he was a casino floorman for 21 years, retired from the Air Force and a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Stan Salo of Las Vegas.

David E. Steepe
David E. Steepe, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Collingwood, Ontario. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired accountant.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; his mother, Eulalia Steepe of London, Ontario; and three brothers, Donald Steepe of London and Royce Steepe and Darwin Steepe, both of Canada.

Moshe Stein, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 8, 1921, in Poland. A resident for many years, he was a paint company owner.
He is survived by one son, Leo Stein of Studio City, Calif.

Gaylynne Stevens
Gaylynne Stevens, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 8, 1947, in Fort Belvoir, Va. A resident for 34 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Paul W.; four daughters, Larraine Faircloth of Boulder City and Shannon Stevens, Mindy Stevens and Kami Stevens, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Wade Stevens and Grant Stevens, both of Las Vegas, and Phillip Stevens of Henderson; her mother, Phyllis Goodrich, and one sister, Robin Merrell, both of Ivans, Utah; two brothers, Phillip Goodrich of Reno and Allyn Goodrich of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel at 2245 Lindell Road. Graveside services will be private.
James Lawrence Templeton
James Lawrence Templeton, 54, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 31, 1946, in Kentucky. A resident for 30 years, he was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Woodcarvers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; one son, Thomas Templeton; one daughter, Natalie Beach; his mother, Mary Frances; one brother, Terry Templeton; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the LDS Kingswood Ward, 5800 Carl Ave. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Irene Isabell Zdziarek
Irene Isabell Zdziarek, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Fitzjerrells of Las Vegas and Lorriane Ragano of McHenry, Ill.; one brother, Joseph Oszakiewski of Mercer, Wis.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
