UNLV’s Anderson honored

Tuesday, June 6, 2000 | 9:44 a.m.

UNLV senior Jeremy Anderson was named to the PING/Golf Coaches Association of America All-America first team for the second time in his career, the GCAA announced Monday.

A first-team choice in 1999, Anderson becomes the first golfer in UNLV history to earn the honor more than once. He has been selected to the team three times in his career, including an appearance on the second team as a sophomore in 1998.

Anderson leaves UNLV with school records for low 18 (63), low 54 (198), low season scoring average (70.85 in 2000) and low career scoring average (72.01).

UNLV senior Michael Kirk was named to the third team.
