Three life terms for man convicted of shooting landlord

Washoe District Judge Brent Adams handed down the sentence Friday to Raymond Rosas, who admitted to fatally shooting Homer Stockmann, 44.
In April, a jury found Rosas guilty of first-degree murder, murder with the use of a deadly weapon and kidnapping, each of which carries a life sentence.
Earlier last week, Adams sentenced Cecele Linton, 18, to life in prison for her role in the slaying. She pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the case.
At his trial, Rosas testified he had taken a room in Stockmann's house a few months before the killing and considered him a friend.
But Rosas said Stockmann later turned on him and "disrespected him."
