Letter: Vote for GOP is a vote for nukes

A new freshman Republican senator or congressman would have to follow instructions from his party bigwigs, who are even now plotting to override President Clinton's promised veto of their "Nukes to Nevada" legislation.
So vote Republican if you want the first nuclear trash train to fly a Republican ensign and be served by a Republican porter.
If, on the other hand, you want your congressional delegation to sidetrack the nuclear trash train in Washington, your names are Sen. Ed Bernstein and Rep. Shelley Berkley.
