A Las Vegas hair salon is seeking a temporary restraining order to stop a former hairdresser from working for a competitor and from servicing any customers that she allegedly diverted from the salon.
In a Clark County District Court lawsuit, Dolphin Court Salon & Day Spa Inc. sued Guadalupe Mancilla, alleging she violated her employment agreement when she voluntarily left the salon on July 8 without giving notice, and allegedly began telling Dolphin Court customers that she was moving to Destination Salon Spa.
The suit alleged Mancilla, now a hairdresser for Destination Salon at 7331 West Lake Mead Blvd., breached an agreement to not compete within a 5-mile radius of the nearby Dolphin Court at 7581 West Lake Mead Blvd.
Mancilla couldn't be reached for comment.
