Move over Darva, Fox now looking for sexiest bachelor in America

"The Sexiest Bachelor in America," a two-hour special, is scheduled to air Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. on Fox, the network announced Wednesday. It will star 50 men, one from each state, and will be broadcast from the MGM Grand hotel and casino in Las Vegas. All of the judges will be women.

It was Fox that broadcast the much-maligned "Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionaire" show that rocketed Conger and Rockwell to 15 minutes of fame.

The network has established a Web site, www.sexiestbachelor.com for people interested in entering the pageant. But be forewarned: The competition includes both a formal wear and bathing suit competition as men are judged on their "looks, style and personality." Any male U.S. resident who is 21 or older and single may enter.

"If you know of an attractive male who is worthy of this title, nominate him and have him submit an application. Or, if you feel that you fit this description, please apply yourself," a notice posted on the Web site stated.
