The Lac du Flambeau have proposed building a $49 million casino and hotel just south of De Pere.
"The town board is definitely supporting it," said Chairman Thomas Perock.
The tribe's proposal calls for building a $19 million casino and a $30 million hotel and parking structure on 30 to 40 acres. The tribe expects to employ 1,000 people.
