LV cost of living increases

The overall cost of living in Las Vegas increased 0.3 percent in June as gasoline prices increased, First Security Bank reported.
The bank, which tracks local prices, said they fell for housing, restaurant meals, groceries and health care. But prices increased for transportation, clothing and utilities.
Separately, AAA reported the statewide average price of gas last week was $1.76, up 11 cents from June and up 30 cents from one year ago. The average in Las Vegas was $1.72.
