Immunizations

Health district immunization clinics are open each week in and around Las Vegas. Immunizations are provided without charge to children and young adults under the age of 21 in any of four public health centers and 15 satellite clinics. The following clinics will be open this week, July 26 through August 1:

DISTRICT HEALTH CENTER: 625 Shadow Lane, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

HENDERSON PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER: 129 W. Lake Mead Drive, Building A, Suite 10, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

EAST LAS VEGAS PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER: 560 N. Nellis Blvd., Suite E12, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

EAST LAS VEGAS WIC OFFICE: 5701 Missouri Ave., 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Wednesday.

DESERT BREEZE CLINIC: 8275 Spring Mountain Road, noon-4 p.m. Friday.

FREMONT MEDICAL CLINIC: 4880 S. Wynn Road, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Immunizations free to anyone who walks in.

Infant care program offered

University Medical Center's Bright Beginnings program is offering a class entitled "Post Partum Infant Care" at no charge from 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Bright Beginnings classroom, 1815 W. Charleston Blvd. Seating is limited so those individuals interested in attending need to reserve their seat as soon as possible. For more information, call 383-3848.
