Letter: Speaking out can save open space

It is time for Northern and Southern Nevadans to insist that President Clinton ask the BLM to conduct new inventories and create an updated management plan to save our open space. As we have witnessed here in Elko County, unreasonable and neurotic voices filled with punitive zeal are the only ones being recognized. It is time for calm and reasoned people across Nevada to speak up and speak loudly. Please, write letters and make phone calls to your leaders today!
