LV man pleads guilty in child-sex, pornography case

A Las Vegas man accused of paying a local couple $1,500 a month for six years so he could have sex with their three daughters has entered a guilty plea as part of a deal with prosecutors.
Donald Dustman, 64, will be 84 before he will be eligible for parole, Chief Deputy District Attorney Doug Herndon said.
Dustman pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault of a minor under the age of 14 and one count of using a minor in the production of pornography, Herndon said.
Each sexual assault count represents each of the victims, who are now 18, 15 and 15, Herndon said.
Dustman was charged in April with 78 counts after one of the girls told a teacher she was being sexually abused.
Police found 1,000 pornographic pictures and 200 pornographic videotapes in a storage unit that had been rented by Dustman.
During their investigation of Dustman, police learned that Dustman had been paying the children's parents so he could engage in sexual activities with them, take pornographic photos of them and videotape them.
The parents, who are not being named by the Sun to protect the identities of the children, cut short their preliminary hearing last week to announce they also plan to plead guilty.
The couple agreed to take a deal after a woman who appeared in a pornographic film with one of the girls testified about the financial agreement between them and Dustman.
The 47-year-old man, who also was accused of sexually abusing two of the girls, is expected to plead guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a minor under 16 and one count of felony child abuse or neglect.
The 37-year-old woman plans to plead guilty to a single count of felony child abuse or neglect. Both could get up to 20 years in prison.
The couple is expected to enter their guilty pleas on Tuesday and Dustman is set to be sentenced on Aug. 31.
In other developments in the case, Herndon said the children's maternal grandfather was arrested Tuesday and charged with six counts of sexual assault of a minor and two counts of lewdness involving a minor.
