Letter: Rhubarb was no big deal
Friday, July 21, 2000 | 4:28 a.m.
Carl Everett has a beef with an umpire (terrible sin) and Ron Kantowski is ready to become an ex-fan of the game ("HBO special brings fans back to the '60s," July 18). Miraculously, a TV program restores his interest.
Warning: This may happen again. Ron should buy the HBO tape of "When It Was a Game" so he will be ready.
We have to retain solid fans like him.
