State jobless rate 3.5 percent in June, just over 1 million working
June unemployment in the metropolitan Las Vegas area was 4.3 percent, up from 3.4 percent in May. In the Reno area, the rate was 2.8 percent in June, up from 2.4 percent a month earlier.
