Mayme Irene Amic
Mayme Irene Amic, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 8, 1917, in Chisholm, Minn. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Sr.; one daughter, Terri Lui of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and two sons, Jerry Amic of Las Vegas and Tom Amic Jr. of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Tom Burns
Tom Burns, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 18, 1930, in San Jose, Calif. A resident for five years, he was a retired deep space exploration planner.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie; one daughter, Sandra Blair of Palmdale, Calif.; three sons, Stephen Burns of Los Angeles, Tom Burns Jr. of Carlsbad, Calif., and Scott Durbin of Mason, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Wednesday in the LDS Villa Bonita Ward. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the LDS Church's General Missionary Fund or the National Kidney Foundation of Nevada, 4100 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Eladio Cano
Eladio Cano, 38, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 18, 1962, in Honduras. A resident for two years, he was a cook.
He is survived by one son, Fredi Cano of Los Angeles; one daughter, Miriam Cano, his father, Lorenzo Rosales, and his mother, Rosaura Cano, all of Honduras.

Jose Cortina
Jose Cortina, 61, of Las Vegas died July 1 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 8, 1938, in Cuba. A resident for many years, he was an owner of rental properties.
He is survived by his companion, Russell Mitchell of Las Vegas; and his mother, Margita Reyes of Florida.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Jenny L. Curcio
Jenny L. Curcio, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 19, 1927, in New York City. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise M. Iudice of Henderson; two sons, Dennis L. Curcio and Brian A. Curcio, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Philip Furman
Philip Furman, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for seven years, he was a retired owner-operator of a window cleaning company and a World War II Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Traci Furman of Delton, Mich.; one son, Kevin Furman of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Carl Oliver Gregory
Carl Oliver Gregory, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 26, 1942, in Santa Cruz, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a civil engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers, a member of the University of California, Berkeley, Alumni Association, Sierra Club and Professional Civil Engineers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; two daughters, Melissa Lea Gregory of Las Vegas and Monica Hope Gregory of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one sister, Ellena Nelson of Havre, Mont.; and one brother, Lawrence Gregory of Santa Cruz.
Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Demetrius Alan Kelly Jr.
Demetrius Alan Kelly Jr., died July 9, his date of birth in a local hospital.
He is survived by his parents, Demetrius A. and Danesta Kelly of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Caren Kendrid and Flem and Celeste Wilson, all of Las Vegas, and Robert and Kathy Kelly of California.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Brian Edward Kirschvink, 33, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1967, in California. A resident for three years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by his parents, Leonard E. and Patricia A. Kirschvink of American Canyon, Calif.; and one sister, Nichelle Novak of Fresno, Calif.

Chester F. Kornmeyer Jr.
Chester F. Kornmeyer Jr., 38, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 11, 1962, in Elizabeth, N.J. A resident for nine years, he was a welder.
He is survived by one son, William Kornmeyer, and one daughter, Kimberly Kornmeyer, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Carol and Chester Kornmeyer Sr. of Elizabeth; and one sister, Colleen Jones of New Jersey.

Martin F. Lindvall, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1937, in Duluth, Minn. A resident for seven years, he was a retired Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Angie; four daughters, Kimberly Granado of Las Cruces, N.M., Jeanine Rego and Estella Rice, both of Las Vegas, and Lisa Lindvall of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; three sons, Robert Rice and Randall Rego, both of Las Vegas, and Ray Granado of Las Cruces, N.M.; one sister, Gerrie Krause of Denver; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Joan Ann Luca, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 24, 1942, in New York. A resident for six months, she was a clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Luca of Smithtown, N.Y.

Martin Martin Jr.
Martin Martin Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died July 8 in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1920, in Glendale, Ariz. A resident for two years, he was a retired baker and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Pearl Rodriguez; one son, Raymond Martin; three sisters, Alice Maiolo, Virginia Haywood and Dolores Marmolejo; two brothers, Manuel Martin and Robert Martin; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Gerald Seroy Mckee, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Springfield, Ill. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired casino floorman and a veteran.

Shirley Mae Morris, 63, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 4, 1936, in New Orleans. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by nine daughters, Myrtle Brumfield, Jennifer Washington, Ava Peters Mitchell, Sheila Morris, Melanie Peters Townsend, Shirley Peters West, Simone Peters, Jennifer Washington-Dennis and Frances Washington; two sons, Frank Washington III and Michael Washington; four sisters, Yvonne Albert, Thelma Kimble, Ella Bazilee and Bernadette Brooks; and five brothers, Irvin Clifford, Ronald Morris, Joseph Brooks, Arthur David Morris and Edward Morris.

William Edmond Reeves, 60, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 5, 1940, in Fairfax, Okla. A resident for 37 years, he was a manager at A.C. & Refrigeration Wholesale Supply, vice-president of Southern Nevada Bowling Association and past exalted ruler of North Las Vegas Elks 2353.
He is survived by his wife, Doris J.; two sons, Bruce R. Reeves of Overton and Deron Paris Reeves of West Valley, Utah; two daughters, Cindy E. Sheers and Ellen M. Young, both of North Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Dr. Anita L. Horton of Sugarland, Texas; his mother, Goldie M. Reeves of Cushing, Okla.; and eight grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Thalman, and one sister, Irene W. Hays-Thalman, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Earl Leslie Thalman of Salt Lake City.

Donald D. Wilson, 58, of Panaca died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 4, 1942, in Caliente. A lifelong resident of Southern Nevada, he was a heavy equipment operator and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Nicole Wilson of Cummings, Ga., and Lesley Herron of Reno; one son, Jesse Wilson of Las Vegas; his mother, Geraldine Sommerville of Panaca; and two sisters, Charlotte Bradshaw of Idaho and Connie English of Missouri.
