Robert C. Maddox of Robert C. Maddox & Associates has been selected trial lawyer of the year by the Nevada Trial Lawyer's Association.
A trial lawyer who has represented numerous homeowners in construction-defect cases, Maddox secured a $4.6 million settlement in January involving 88 homes in a North Las Vegas subdivision. He recently recovered $2.5 million for condominium owners in Henderson.
In addition, Maddox sought to get a tax bill passed in Lake Tahoe to raise funds for the local school district. He lectures to various groups on construction defect litigation.
Maddox has served as the Nevada delegate to the American Trial Lawyers Association and has recently served as president of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association.
