William A. Alvis of Florida will give his daughter, Judy Kozicz of Las Vegas, in marriage to Les Carter of Las Vegas, in a wedding ceremony on Aug. 18. Les's parents are William and Mamia Carter.
Judge William Jansen will officiate at the ceremony. Melody Mooney will be the maid of honor.
The bride-to-be was born in Florida and moved to Las Vegas in 1973. The groom-to-be was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Las Vegas in 1977.
