Harrah's Entertainment Inc. of Las Vegas said today it signed a five-year agreement with Coca-Cola North America to provide fountain, bottle, can and vending products and services to all of its U.S. properties.
Harrah's which operates 21 casinos in 17 markets under the Harrah's, Rio and Showboat brands, said the agreement will include the installation, stocking and maintenance of fountain equipment as well as vending machines at all existing and future-owned Harrah's locations. Most of the vending equipment will be converted from 12-ounce to 20-ounce capacity.
"Coke will be the brand that we market in our drinks at bars and it will be in our gift shops and vending machines," said Gary Thompson, Harrah's spokesman.
He didn't know if Pepsi products are affected by the deal.
