Sewer costs rise in Dayton
Monday, July 10, 2000 | 2:57 a.m.
The increase in Dayton Utilities base rates from $20.50 a month to $22.50 a month will be reflected in customers' August bill.
Commercial customers' base rate also will climb by $2.
Dayton Utilities officials said they hope the increase will allow them to operate in the black again.
"We won't know for sure until next year," company office manager Misty Plett said, noting the cost of supplies and testing continues to rise.
