Congressman visits Boulder City
Rep. Jim Gibbons, R-Nev., plans to meet with citizens at the Boulder City Library, 813 Arizona St., 4-6 p.m. today as part of his mobile office tour.
The tour begins today and will continue through Southern Nevada until Friday.
Gibbons will stop at the Blue Diamond Library, 14 Cottonwood Ave., in Blue Diamond, 2-4 p.m. Tuesday and at the Bob Ruud Community Center, 150 N. Highway 160, in Pahrump, 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Gibbons established the tour in an effort to help Nevadans within the 2nd Congressional District on issues regarding legislation, difficulties with federal agencies, U.S. flag orders and assisting constituents with Washington, D.C., tour schedules. This is his second statewide mobile office tour this year.
The Northern Nevada tour begins Aug. 14 in Minden and continues through Aug. 18.
For more information or a complete schedule of the southern and northern portions of the tour, call (775) 686-5760.
