Ralph Ahlberg
Ralph Ahlberg, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Las Vegas. A resident for one year, he was a railroad conductor and a veteran.
He is survived by one son, John D. Ahlberg of Alaska; and one daughter, Claudine Ahlberg of Nevada.
No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Susanne Baker
Susanne Baker, 60, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1939, in Boston. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Philip; one son, Dale Wilson of Anaheim, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled from 2 p.m. services until 7 p.m. today at the family home, 525 Avenue K, Boulder City. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in the Boulder City Fifth Street LDS Chapel. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Boulder City Cemetery Pavillion. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Suite 140.
Jack Bankler
Jack Bankler, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 14, 1932, in Jerusalem. A resident for two years, he was a retired chiropractor and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; four daughters, Debbie Bankler, Cindy Bankler and Sheree Bankler-Portillo, all of West Hollywood, Calif., and Tauna Davis of Las Vegas; two sons, Brian Davis of Las Vegas and Oscar Portillo of West Hollywood; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Richard Brown
Richard Brown, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 21, 1913, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired school district administrator, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Rotary Club of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Lurena; one son, Dick Brown of Prudenville, Mich.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Thomas E. Bullock
Thomas E. Bullock, 52, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 8, 1947, in McComb, Miss. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired maintenance worker and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Heidi Dumont of Las Vegas; five brothers, Lester Bullock of Leakey, Texas, Elton Bullock of Jayess, Miss., Willie Dean Bullock of Ruth, Miss., William Estes Bullock Jr. of McCombs, Miss., and Billy Bullock of Picayune, Miss.; one sister, Bonnie Fae Hughes of Markham, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Alice Viola Caine
Alice Viola Caine, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 30, 1919, in Delta, Utah. A resident for many years, she was a cook.
She is survived by one son, Gordon Jones of Las Vegas.

Clarke Whitmore Cubbage
Clarke Whitmore Cubbage, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1935, in Portland, Ore. A resident for five years, he was a bartender at Skip's Gold Coin Saloon.
He is survived by two daughters; one brother; one sister; and two ex-wives.
A celebration of life will be 3 p.m. July 16 at the Gold Coin Saloon, 4680 S. Decatur Blvd. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Jesse Dawson
Jesse Dawson, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 9, 1939, in Watson, Fla. A resident for four years, he was a retired Navy chief petty officer who served more than 20 years and was a Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Verlean; two sons, Michael Dawson of Guam and Jesse Dawson of San Diego; two daughters, Jackie Cooper of Wester, Pa., and Sonya Dawson of San Diego; three stepsons, Eric Atkins of Los Angeles and Stanley McArry and Anthony Stevenson, both of San Diego; two sisters, Bessie Barnes and Hazel Fasson, both of Panama City, Fla.; three brothers, Isaac Simmons of Panama City, Sylvester Simmons of Blountstown, Fla., and Clarence Simmons of Fort Meyers, Fla.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

James Elmer Ewell
James Elmer Ewell, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 15, 1916, in Santaquin, Utah. A resident for 50 years, he was a plasterer and member of Local 797 and custodian and carpenter for the Clark County School District.
He is survived by one daughter, Rose Marie Lee, and two sons, Lloyd Ewell and Larry Ewell, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Arlin Ewell of Genola, Utah; six sisters, Beth Scott of Las Vegas, Verda Throckmorton of Genola, Martha Ann McDonald of Payson, Utah, Udean Camp and Shirley Jackman, both of Orem, Utah, Mabel Lance of Toelle, Utah; 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in the LDS chapel at Walnut Street and Carey Avenue. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
Lorraine Fink
Lorraine Fink, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born March 22, 1919, in Ashton, Idaho. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Fink of Victor, Mont., and Ronda Staley of Las Vegas; one son, Craig Fink of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Barbara Rubin Flon, 46, of Henderson died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 25, 1954, in New York. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

Tamara M. Greenhouse
Tamara M. Greenhouse, 42, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 16, 1957, in New Orleans. A resident for six months, she was a bookkeeper for the federal government and a member of McDonogh 35 Alumni in New Orleans.
She is survived by her mother, Gail Greenhouse of Las Vegas; two brothers, Gerard Greenhouse and Garryd Queen, both of California; and two sisters, Brenda Greenhouse of California and Theresa Braggs of New Orleans.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Emilia Gutierrez
Emilia Gutierrez, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 23, 1930, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel; four sisters, Magdalena Del Rio of Brandon, Fla., Elizabeth of Miami, Sara Monserrat of Orlando, Fla., and Lydia Alvarez of Puerto Rico; and two brothers, Saul Santiago and Francisco Santiago Jr., both of Puerto .
Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Ann B. Hansen
Ann B. Hansen, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born July 5, 1922, in Iowa. A resident for 20 years, she was a waitress.
She is survived by her husband, Albert; one daughter, Debra Davis; two brothers, Harvey Bartel and Leonard Bartel; and one sister, Ester Houser.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Deborah M. Ivy
Deborah M. Ivy, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 31, 1934, in Mississippi. A resident for five years, she was a laborer in a packing plant.
She is survived by her husband, Eldgre Sr.; two sons, Eldgre Ivy Jr. of Mississippi and Willie Ivy of Georgia; two daughters, Patricia Walthaur and Diane Miller, both of Las Vegas; and four sisters, Carrie Love, Nettie Edwards and Mary Strong, all of Illinois and Emma Hutton of Indiana.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Mississippi. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Clyde Johnson Jr.
Clyde Johnson Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1919, in Wheatland, Ind. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; two daughters, Rosemary Batchelor of Henderson and Diana McBride of Florida; one brother, Bill Johnson of Florida; one sister, Anna Lou Reber of California; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Saturday with a 10 a.m. service at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Orval 'Eddie' Jordan
Orval "Eddie" Jordan, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 23, 1935, in Chickasha, Okla. A resident for nine years, he was a retired salesman, a dealer for 10 years and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Marlo and Tracy, one son, Mark, and his mother, Mildred Hicks, all of California; one sister; and several grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Robert N. Lampert
Robert N. Lampert, 51, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born June 2, 1949, in Illinois. A resident for 25 years, he was an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lola; and one sister, Rita Necheles of Wheeling, Ill.

Irene H. Lundgren
Irene H. Lundgren, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Kulm, N.D. A resident for 5 1/2 years, she was a retired Sears department store auditor for 42 years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Squire of Dallas and Dorothy Howe of Las Vegas; and one brother, Lawrence Bjornstad of Stockton, Calif.

Marilyn Rowley
Marilyn Rowley, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born July 17, 1934, in Utah. A resident for many years, she was a sous chef.
She is survived by her husband, Farel Rowley of Las Vegas.

David Roylance Neville
David Roylance Neville, 36, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 13, 1964, in Reno. A resident for many years, he was an independent contractor in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his parents, Wendell and Merlene Neville, and one sister, Janet Nordine, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 5 p.m. memorial service Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A private entombment will be in Eden Vale Mausoleum.
Glenn William Smith
Glenn William Smith, 80, of Las Vegas died June 30 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Alden, Iowa. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired owner-operator truck driver and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret L.; one daughter, Patricia Ann Enrico of Marseilles, Ill.; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Manuel C. "Mal" Tavares, 78, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Gilroy, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a retired office manager in the petroleum industry, a World War II Army veteran, past president of the Lions Club in Orcutt, Calif., and a member of a Portuguese social club, UPEC.
He is survived by his wife, Laurentina "Tina"; one daughter, Darlene Tavares of North Las Vegas; and one son, Dennis M. Tavares of Silver Spring, Md.
