Letter: Cut Bayno some slack

I'm not the world's biggest Bill Bayno fan, but I do have to protest Ron Kantowski's comments about Bayno changing his mind about allowing betting on UNLV games. Maybe when he looked at both sides of the issue he realized his earlier comments against changing the status quo were made in haste.

Sometimes people change their minds for honest reasons. There is no reason to think some bigtime booster with casino connections put the arm on him, and comparing Bayno to a lying boxing promoter (Bob Arum) seems harsher than necessary.
