CHILDREN'S SKATE DAY
The Las Vegas Sportspark in Summerlin will host a Children's Skate Day on July 15 from noon-4 p.m. Children with life-threatening illnesses will be receive free ice and roller skating, skating instruction from qualified trainers, food and a skating show with amateur and professional skaters from the Las Vegas community. General admission will be $5. The Sportspark is located at 1400 N. Rampart Blvd. Call 233-3600 for more information.
BASEBALL CAMP
The 5th annual Rocky Mountain Showcase will be held Aug 7-9 at Dixie College Hurst Field in St. George, Utah. The camp is for high school juniors and seniors and the staff will be comprised of college coaches and scouts. For more information, call 877-272-0862.
BASEBALL TOURNAMENT
The Rocky Mountain Open Baseball Tournament will be held Aug. 10-13 in Mesquite. Collegiate and semi-pro teams with no age restrictions are welcome. The format is pool play followed by a double-elimination tournament with a six-game guarantee. The event will be limited to 10 teams. Call 877-272-0862 for more information.
