Potter to arrive
Borders Book Shop & Cafe, 2323 S. Decatur Blvd., will stay open later than usual today as it welcomes the arrival of the new Harry Potter book. Fans can be the first to purchase Harry Potter IV, which releases at 12:01 a.m. A celebration will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Call 258-0999.

Production concepts
Interested choreographers have until July 21 to enter chorographic proposals for the "Holiday Collage 2000," which will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 3 at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center. The event features the Las Vegas Youth Ballet Company and is sponsored by the Cultural and Community Affairs Division of the City of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services and the Las Vegas Civic Ballet Association. Summer dance
Las Vegas Civic Ballet Association and the City of Las Vegas Leisure Services offer afternoon ballet, tap and jazz summer classes at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd North.
