MWC honors five Rebel track team members

Five UNLV student-athletes were honored by the conference with their selection to the 2000 Academic All-Mountain West Conference track and field team.

Claiming kudos for the Rebels were seniors Kathryn Goetz, Paula Lechner and Heather Steadham, junior Katie Barto and sophomore Charlotte McGee.

To make the Academic All-Mountain West Conference team, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, have reached sophomore status or higher and have competed in at least half of the team's events for the season.
