A section of East Lake Boulevard near the entrance of Washoe Lake State Park on the lake's east shore will be closed for the shooting of "Waking Up in Reno."
Local filming of the movie, which co-stars Billy Bob Thornton, will run from Monday through Friday.
The movie profiles two Arkansas couples who drive to Reno to see a truck-pull contest.
Robin Hollabird, Nevada Film Office deputy director, said the closure may take some motorists about 10 minutes out of their way.
