McKinney-James to head renewable resources committee

Rose McKinney-James, president and CEO of the Corporation for Solar Technology and Renewable Resources was named to a national committee that is planning events for Earth Day 2000.

McKinney-James will represent Nevada at EarthFair 2000. Scheduled for April 22 on the Mall in Washington D.C., EarthFair 2000 will showcase hundreds of exhibits displaying elements needed for a society to be self sustaining.

McKinney-James joined CSTRR in 1996. She also served two years as a director of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry and four years as a commissioner for the Nevada Public Service Commission.
