The Full Monti — Monti Rock III: It’s Only My Opinion

Openings, openings - there are are so many openings. All the major properties are getting ready to present the newest and best that entertainment has to offer for the new millennium. My first question is: Where were all the fireworks for the world to see?
After New Year's Eve, the much-anticipated bally-hoo, which by this columnist's opinion was a complete disaster, not even the great Diva Streisand could pack the house - sell out. Then Bette Midler, who was a complete shoo-in to be a hit, turned into a complete disappointment. Again, all this was fueled by the greats Tina Turner and Elton John not appearing on stage together as advertised. This was unprofessional to say the least. So now here goes: Eeenie meenie miney mo -- which of the new shows will be first to go? This week alone the openings include:
