Friday, Jan. 21, 2000 | 10:26 a.m.
Attention vegetarians, you and your food are wanted at a community potluck.
The owners of Sun Chase apartments are holding a vegetarian potluck for members of the community at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Sun Chase apartments club house, 3200 McLeod Drive. About 20 vegetarians are expected to attend.
The group used to meet at a local restaurant but has decided to open its doors to all vegetarians in town. The event is free, the only requirement is that participants bring a vegetarian dish.
Lacto-ovo vegetarians are people who don't eat meat, but eat eggs or dairy products. Vegans are people who abstain from consuming any meat-related product including dairy products. But do not worry because all types of vegetarians are welcome to at these events.
The potlucks are planned for every second and fourth Saturday of each month at the same location.
