Mirage’s Feldman takes Fahrenkopf’s place as speaker

Mirage Resorts Inc. Vice President Alan Feldman will replace Frank Fahrenkopf as a speaker at Preview 2000 next week.

Fahrenkopf, president and chief executive officer of the American Gaming Association, canceled after scheduling briefings on legislation targeting wagering on amateur athletic events.

Preview 2000, one of the city's top business forecasting events, will be presented by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and the Nevada Development Authority Tuesday.

A Chamber of Commerce spokeswoman said Feldman would address the same topics Fahrenkopf was scheduled to discuss.
