Letter: Clinton, liberals take credit for GOP’s good work

If you are a conservative, of any party, be prepared for a continuing onslaught from the liberals and their accomplices, the media.
You'll be called radical, cynical, paranoid, mean-spirited, etc., which will be the liberals' equivalent of debate.
Forget about facts because they know better. Facts will never get in the way of their rhetoric and propaganda.
Take President Clinton for example: He loses a vote or consensus on his agenda and immediately declares victory. He takes credit for legislation, forwarded by conservatives, even though he vetoed or lobbied against it. In the present election he has co-opted the conservative agenda, especially education reform.
If you are old enough you'll remember when we had an above-average public school system. The schools were able to have college-level courses, vocational training and general courses, which served the majority of students well.
The liberals introduced reduced standards and political correctness instead of facing facts and brought public education to a point where America, the richest and most advanced economic power in the world, has a mediocre record.
If you listen to President Clinton you would think that he favors reducing the power of the teachers union and that vouchers were his idea. President Clinton is probably the best politician ever to be president but I'd rather have honesty and credibility.
Conservatives, keep up the good work.
