Superintendent-search meeting postponed
Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000 | 11:08 a.m.
A meeting by a committee scheduled for today to select a new superintendent of schools was postponed.
The Clark County School District's Committee on Superintendent Selection Process instead will meet 8:30 a.m. Jan. 31 at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce conference room at 3720 Howard Hughes Parkway.
The committee plans to review the prior search process, which resulted last year in a list of five finalists -- all of whom eventually were withdrawn from consideration.
According to its agenda, the board also plans to "develop a suggested plan for selection, utilization and implementation of an interim superintendent" to replace longtime Superintendent Brian Cram, who will step down in July.
