StumbleReno and Washoe firefighters to join

The Reno City Council approved the merger unanimously and the Washoe County Commission backed it on a 4-1 vote. The merger still must be approved by the Reno firefighters union.
Supporters say it would save local tax payers about $1.6 million a year.
