One dead, one wounded in probably shootout

One man is dead and a teen-ager wounded in an apparent shootout at a Las Vegas apartment complex.
Police were called to the scene late Tuesday night.
Officers found a 21-year-old man in a parking lot next to a semiautomatic pistol. He had a gunshot wound in the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A search of the area found a 17-year-old in a nearby apartment. The teen-ager had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
Police are unsure of the motive behind the shooting.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
