PR executive sues for funds
Andrea Gale, doing business as Silvergale Media & Marketing, sued Composite Power Corp. of Las Vegas, alleging she is owed an unspecified amount of money for public relations services.
Composite Power replied that it and a shareholder have already paid Gale $27,785 for services and expenses and that it owes her no more money.
Gale promoted Composite Power's proposed "Nevada Green Energy Project" that would include solar, wind and geothermal generating resources. CPC, however, expressed dissatisfaction with her work.
Gale's attorney, Robert Weaver, said Gale completed the work requested of her and circumstances beyond her control affected the results of the public relations campaign.
Medical office set
Real estate developer Rendina Companies plans to build a 60,000-square-foot medical office building on the Desert Springs Hospital campus at 2075 E. Flamingo Road.
Richard Rendina, vice-president of the West Palm Beach, Fla.-based company, said the exact location of the $8.6 million project is currently being decided.
Law, realty firms partner on building
The Las Vegas law firm of Kravitz, Schnitzer & Sloane is partnering with Realty Executives of Nevada to build a 26,000-square-foot office building in Henderson.
Located at 1389 Galleria Drive, the building will serve as home to both companies. Gibson Construction of Nevada is building the $3.6 million project.
