A Las Vegas company formally announced formation of an Internet-based travel company.
TravelSwitch.com LLC, developed by former hotel executives Dan Reichartz and Dan Scott of Advanced Gaming Technology Inc., will offer Las Vegas reservations to a global audience from its Internet site 777lasvegas.com.
The company plans to debut the site Friday.
The site will offer hotel reservations, airfare and car rentals, and entertainment, restaurant and gaming information. The company plans to offer reservations to other destinations by the second quarter of 2000.
Reichartz and Scott, both former executives at Caesars Palace, said in October that TravelSwitch.com would operate as an affiliate of Hotelguide.com, a Meggen, Switzerland, hotel reservation company.
Advanced Gaming Technology, which sells electronic bingo systems, will be a 22 percent owner of TravelSwitch.com.
