Josephine F. Dantico
Josephine F. Dantico, 78, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born March 19, 1921, in Illinois. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Phillis Kachnick of Henderson and Lois Kachnick of Chicago Heights, Ill.; three brothers, Pat Galderio, Tony Galderio and Ralph Galderio, and two sisters, Rose Cyriel Cyrkiel and Louise Zerante, all of Chicago Heights; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Joseph L. Eads
Joseph L. Eads, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Pikeview, Colo. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired plumber, a member of the Shriners, was an Eastern Star past grand patron, and was a a member of Starlight White Shrine and Masonic Lodge Montezuma No. 30 in Goldfield.
He is survived by his wife, Peggi; two daughters, Nancy Parkhurst of Ocala, Fla., and Susan Christy of Oxnard, Calif.; five sisters, Velma Shira of Flagler, Colo., Hazel Perry of Denver, Mildred Zittig of Hilldale, Utah, Helen Awbrey of Vista, Calif., and Marie Christensen of Spring Valley, Wis.; three brothers, Bill Eads of Phoenix, Melvin Eads of Las Vegas and Herbert Eads of Boulder City; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Leo Erbele
Leo Erbele, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Bismarck, N.D. A resident for 39 years, he was a print manager/pressman at the Stardust hotel-casino, a World War II veteran and a member of the Power Squadron.
He is survived by two sons, Lee Erbele of Oregon and Tim Erbele of Las Vegas; two brothers, Howard Erbele of North Dakota and Eldor Erbele of Montana; two sisters, Regina Kudroff of Arizona and Ruth Sayler of Minnesota; and three grandchildren.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Sandra Hope Ferreira
Sandra Hope Ferreira, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Louisiana. A resident for 30 years, she was a schoolteacher at Fong Elementary.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Sr.; three sons, Joseph L. Ferreira Jr., Shad Ferreira and Brian Ferreira, all of Maui, Hawaii; two daughters, Princess Ferreira of Vidalia, Ga., and Nalani Ferreira-Brown of Las Vegas; one sister, Lois Scherer of Reseda, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Hawaii. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Phyllis J. Gibson
Phyllis J. Gibson, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1934, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for five years, she was a customer service representative in the gaming industry.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie Spindell of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

June Chizuko Hamada
June Chizuko Hamada, 62, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 7, 1938, in Hiroshima, Japan. A resident for 20 years, she was co-owner of 10 Hamada Restaurants and Hamada Tour Services, a member of the Asian Chamber of Commerce and on the board of directors of Japan American Society of America. She came to the United States at age 20 and was a naturalized citizen.
She is survived by her husband, Yukiho Jay; one daughter, Bernice Michiko Sadamune of Los Angeles; one son, Howard Hirabayashi Hamada of Las Vegas; her mother, Asako Ishino, and one brother, Tadanori Imamura, both of Tokyo; one sister, Tina Hamble of Los Angeles; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is private. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be private.
Charles E. Herrera
Charles E. Herrera, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Durango, Colo. A resident for 58 years, he was a retired taxicab owner-operator.
He is survived by two brothers, Tony Quintana of Montrose, Colo., and Eddie Martinez of Salt Lake City.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Robert C. Keyes
Robert C. Keyes, 72, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born July 22, 1927, in Kansas. A resident for eight years, he was a retired accountant in the petroleum industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Chris Mitchell, and one son, Rod Keyes, both of Bartlesville, Okla.; his companion, Edna Bittick of Henderson; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Charles Ludwig, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 6, 1923, in Wellsburg, W.Va. A resident for two years, he was a retired iron worker and a member of the Masons and Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Lou; three daughters, Billie Green of Albuquerque, N.M., Pamela Overbey of Las Vegas and Belinda Martinez of Phoenix; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Odyssey Harbor House, 4011 McLeod Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.

Charlotte B. McGeary
Charlotte B. McGeary, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 24, 1917, in Chicago. A resident for 31 years, she was a retired hotel hostess and a member of the Culinary Union.
She is survived by her husband, Lee R.; one son, James Talaber of Las Vegas; one sister, Wanda Sowonik of Manteno, Ill.; and one brother, George Wilkosz of Columbus, Ohio.

Jacqueline R. McLemore
Jacqueline R. McLemore, 29, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born July 13, 1970, in Las Vegas. A lifetime resident of Southern Nevada, she was a casino representative.
She is survived by her mother, Joanna B. McLemore of North Las Vegas; her father, Robert E. McLemore of Las Vegas; two brothers, Erike Hightower and Robert McLemore Jr., both of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Dyrickie Hightower of North Las Vegas and Diamond Hightower of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Inabelle McLemore.
Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday at Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Norma J. Meador
Norma J. Meador, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 27, 1930, in Floydada, Texas. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Stacy Eubank of Las Vegas; two sons, Dean Walls of Fort Worth, Texas, and Joseph Meador of Austin, Texas; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Michelle S. Montalbano, 23, of North Las Vegas died Monday. She was born April 2, 1976, in Manhasset, N.Y. A resident for 5 1/2 years, she was an Albertson's grocery store checker and loved horseback riding.
She is survived by her parents, Charles and Susan Montalbano, and one brother, Michael Montalbano, all of North Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Mary Assenzio of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Joyce A. O'Connor, 53, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Plainfield, N.J. A resident for six years, she was a casino payroll administrator.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; one daughter, Geralynn, two sons, Steve and Tony, and one brother, Larry Moody, all of New Jersey; and six grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Lucille Orbeck of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Robert F. Parnell
Robert F. Parnell, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Diamond, Mo. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force technical sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma H.; four sons, Bob Parnell of Las Vegas, Dan Parnell of Denver, Craig Parnell of Apple Valley, Calif., and Doug Parnell of Louisville, Ky.; his mother, Kathryn Lowry of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Nettie Mae Perry
Nettie Mae Perry, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 28, 1925, in Fulton, Ark. A resident for 13 years, she was a foster parent.
She is survived by one daughter, Albertha Gartica of Los Angeles; one brother, James Perry of Moreno Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the New Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 615 W. Van Buren Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
John Quisenberry
John Quisenberry, 36, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 29, 1963, in Las Vegas. A resident for 36 years, he was a mechanic for the Clark County School District.
He is survived by his parents, Tommie and James Quisenberry, one sister, Esther Ruth Quisenberry, and one brother, James Mark Quisenberry, all of Las Vegas.

Joel Brent Raymer, 39, of Pahrump died Saturday in California. He was born June 29, 1960, in Illinois. A resident for six years, he was a construction worker and a children's baseball and soccer coach.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; four sons, Josh and Jacob, both of Michigan, and Tyler and Zac, both of Pahrump; one daughter, Taylor of Pahrump; his mother, Martha Raymer, and one brother, Rod, both of California.
Mass was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., Pahrump.

Mary G. Richardson, 67, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 28, 1932, in Dorchester, S.C. A resident for 36 years, she was retired as a Caesars Palace casino representative after four years.
She is survived by her father, Robert E. McLemore of Las Vegas, her mother, Joanna B. McLemore, and two brothers, Erike Hightower and Robert McLemore Jr., all of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Dyrickie Hightower of North Las Vegas and Diamond Hightower of Las Vegas; her grandmother, Inabelle McLemore of Las Vegas.

Elder John Smith
Elder John Smith, 92, of Las Vegas died Jan. 6 in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 25, 1907, in Laura, Miss. A resident for six years, he was a minister.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; seven sons, David, Benjamin, James and Raymond, all of Las Vegas, Bobby and George, both of Chicago Heights, Ill., and Dennis of Sauk Village, Ill.; three daughters, Jonnie Cooper of Richton Park, Ill., Berlynda Wilson of Clint, Md., and Sherri Jones of Las Vegas; 36 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in New Life Christian Center, 1229 Carson Ave. Burial will follow in Davis Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Jeffrey G. Spaide, 35, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 15, 1964, in Wilkes Barre, Pa. A resident for 11 years, he was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his companion, Edward L. Padavan of Las Vegas; two sisters, Colleen M. Moore of Wilkes Barre and Kelly A. Witinski of Mountaintop, Pa.; and one brother, Michael J. Spaide of Wilkes Barre.

Brenda Marie Warren, 45, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 25, 1954, in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, she was a keno writer.
She is survived by two sons, Corey L. Warren and Terrance T. Warren, her mother, Leona Warren, and one brother, Charles Warren, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Lynda Garland of North Las Vegas and Debra Burrell, Patricia Warren and Janis Warren, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
