twitterMesquite casino changes name, announces remodeling plans

The Rancho Mesquite Resort Casino and Holiday Inn has changed its name to the Eureka Hotel Casino.
"What was happening was that people were confusing us with other properties and we're getting people coming here thinking we're the Mesquite Star and vice versa," said Marketing Director Kathy Poindexter.
There have also been deliveries intended for the casino that instead went to the El Rancho, a Mesquite casino, Poindexter said.
