Internet fraud is a growing trend making news worldwide. According to the National Consumer's League Fraud Information Center, Internet auctions are the source of most fraud, with sales of general merchandise a distant second. The group also has found that Internet users in their 30s and 40s are the ones most prone to being defrauded.
