McMullan out at Resort at Summerlin

Brian McMullan, president and chief executive of Seven Circle Resorts Inc., announced his resignation Tuesday.

At Seven Circle Resorts, a subsidiary of Swiss Casinos of America, McMullan oversaw the planning and development of the Resort at Summerlin. In a statement, the company said McMullan was resigning to start his own development company.

"Now that the Resort at Summerlin is complete, I feel it is time to move on," McMullan said. "I have formed my own development and management company and plan to be involved in gaming and entertainment development both here in the United States and in other parts of the world."

Swiss Casinos officials could not be reached for comment on who would replace McMullan.
