Letter: Corporate greed hurts Las Vegas

Television newspeople added insult to injury by urging locals to come on down because there were still $10 and $20 parking spaces available.
Comparing happenings around the world to the event in Las Vegas made the latter one look like a dog-and-pony show. Thank heaven we have a few chips off the old blocks left. Those modern-day corporate whiz-kids are biodegradable and self-destruct.
They will keep scraping the inside of the barrel until the bottom falls out. However, we still have until Dec. 31, 2000, to restore our good name and make up for the loss of face!
